Congratulations to Our New Certified Child Welfare Law Specialists
We are proud to announce that our partners Sydney Batch and Shannon Poore both passed the National Association of Counsel for Children’s (NACC) Child Welfare Law Examination and are now Certified Child Welfare Law Specialists. Sydney and Shannon are now part of the select few attorneys in North Carolina recognized by the NACC that are able to hold themselves out as Child Welfare Law Specialists. This specialization represents their passion and commitment to clients throughout North Carolina.
Both Sydney and Shannon’s specialize in Abuse, Neglect and Dependency matters representing parents who are under investigation by Child Protective Services or have had their children removed from their custody. They also prosecute and defend termination of parental rights actions and responsible individual list appeals. Our attorneys zealously represent clients at the trial and appellate levels. We also provide consulting services to attorneys statewide who represent clients who may have ancillary involvement with Child Protective Services.
Join us in congratulating Sydney and Shannon for their achievements!
The National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) is accredited by the American Bar Association and is endorsed by the North Carolina State Bar, pursuant to Rule 7.4(b)(3) of the North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct. For more information on the NACC visit their website.
