Elisabeth is an associate with our firm.
A double-tarheel, Elisabeth studied Political Science and Women’s & Gender Studies at UNC Chapel Hill and continued her education at UNC School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor.
Elisabeth has advocated for people who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault for over a decade. Prior to law school Elisabeth worked for Compass Center for Women and Families and Durham Crisis Response Center as a domestic violence hotline responder and court advocate. Elisabeth has also worked for UNC’s School of Public Health as a domestic violence researcher, observing court in almost every judicial district across North Carolina.
While attending UNC Law, Elisabeth represented clients in UNC’s Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault clinic, was an editor of the North Carolina Civil Rights Law Review, and completed over 200 hours of pro bono work. During her final year of law school, Elisabeth was recognized for outstanding community service and academic achievement by being inducted into the James E. and Carolyn B. Davis Society.
Elisabeth enjoys serving on the board of the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence, lifting weights, playing with her rescue dogs and cat (Charlie, Lucy, and Linus), and cheering on the greatest collegiate basketball team of all time (Go Heels!).
